This 600 square mile territory is located between Prince George and Vanderhoof, North of Highway 16. This plateau area incorporates over 200 lakes and 3 rivers including the Salmon, Stewart, and the Muskeg, providing some of the best habitat for moose, elk and black bear in the province. Also boasting the highest moose population within this region.
There is a diversity of remote wilderness and cut blocks with miles and miles of logging roads that allow excellent spring bear hunting and fall moose hunting. This diversity of terrain provides feed in the logged area while still allowing enough cover to create a safe haven for wildlife. There are over 100 historic foot trails allowing the outfitter access to remote country and prime hunting areas. The current outfitter has historically taken over 20 bear hunters a spring with high success.
There are 3 remote log cabin camps and 4 wall tent locations. These secret locations are only accessed by foot, horse and boats on lakes and rivers.
This is a high profit territory, which is attributed to super habitat for moose and bear along with good access throughout the territory and its relative location to Prince George.
