Overland Resort in Denare Beach is awaiting its new owner! This resort has a lot going for it with the potential to continue expanding. It provides several different accommodation options to guests in a beautiful lakeside setting.
This resort is located alongside Mosher Lake, which boasts great fishing, as well as other watersports. The main lodge at Overland consists of 7 suites ranging in size from 1 bedroom to 3 bedrooms. There is also an A-frame cabin with an upper and lower suite. In addition to the suites there are 4 fully serviced RV spots available. All the suites include, at a minimum, a living room, kitchen, bedroom(s), bathroom and patio space. Being on the village’s water and sewer makes for simple, headache free and affordable utilities!
The 2 acre resort is adjacent to a beautiful lakeshore area inclusive of dock, walking bridge and boathouse. It makes for a picturesque setting for weddings or family reunions with the lake and ample greenspace.
Devastatingly, Denare Beach was significantly impacted by wildfire earlier this summer. Having said that, Overland Resort managed to survive unscathed which leaves opportunity to house workers that will be rebuilding Denare Beach over the next several years. Unfortunately, the other main resort in the area was not as lucky as Overland and was lost in the fire, which will provide a higher demand in the area for accommodation until they rebuild.
This resort is ready to go – it’s been updated, provides solid revenue, has repeat clientele, an excellent reputation, prime location, good infrastructure and the opportunity to expand. It’s an excellent time to take over this flourishing business!
