Trapline N. of Revelstoke

Ok, fellow outdoor enthusiasts!  If you are Kootenay/Shuswap/Thompson/Okanagan area this one is for you!  This trapline is located in the northern Selkirk Mountain range and is within striking distance for a weekend of trapping.  The fully furnished trapline cabin on the line is not far off of Hwy 23 and has vehicle access year round making it an easy in and out if you have limited time.  There is also a second trapline cabin site if you were interested in building a second cabin that was more remote, although still accessible via road.   

The trapline being located on the Goldstream River and Lake Revelstoke makes for some pretty amazing country to explore.  This is prime marten country making it worth your while to come out even if only for a night or two at a time and with ploughed FSR roads to trap along it allows for a good harvest with minimal effort.  Other species are also in the area, although the marten is what really shines here.  Trapping equipment is included allowing you to start right away, along with seller knowledge of the trapline.

There’s a multitude of recreational activities for you to take advantage of after checking the line in the morning, including some snowmobile areas that are as good as it gets.  On the flip side, summer/fall activities abound with fishing, hiking, quading, hunting, river running, etc right in the backyard of the trapline cabin.  This trapline offers enjoyment of what nature has to offer year round.
